COPY-Health Awareness For Women

by Christa Lollis

It is national woman's health week and the girls at Lufkin Middle School spent their day learning how to stay healthy.   The girls heard from several speakers about ways to stay healthy and why being healthy is so important. They were taught how eating healthier snacks will keep them energized and how drinking a glass of water or milk is better than a soda. The Angelina County Health District put the fair together to help prevent the girls from forming bad habits.
