Lufkin Police Report - 5/20/08

BURGLARY/VEHICLE:  300 BLOCK OF ELEN TROUT.  Complainant reported that some speakers, a speaker box and an amplifier were stolen from his vehicle early Tuesday morning. 

AGGRAVATED ASSAULT:  200 BLOCK OF MARTIN LUTHER KING.  Complainant reported that an unknown male suspect cut her on her arm with an unknown type sharp instrument Monday night.  The complainant had a minor 1" laceration to her arm and did not require medical treatment.

INJURY TO ELDERY OR...:2400 BLOCK OF W FRANK.  Complainant reported that an elderly nursing home resident had bruising on her arm believed to have been caused by employees restraining the patient.

AGGRAVATED ASSAULT:  500 BLOCK OF PERSHING.  Complainant reported that she was assaulted by a known female suspect Monday evening who used brass knuckles to hit the complainant in the face.  Complainant was treated and released at a local hospital for bruising and contusions.  

DOMESTIC DISTURBANCE:  2900 BLOCK OF S JOHN REDDITT DR.  Complainant reported that her adult son threw boiling soup in her face Monday afternoon, causing second degree burns to her face.  The complainant was treated at a local hospital.  A warrant has been obtained for the suspect who fled the scene.

BURGLARY:  5500 BLOCK OF S FIRST.  Complainant reported that two ATV's and an ATV battery were stolen during a break-in at a business over the weekend. 

THEFT:  4600 BLOCK OF S MEDFORD DR.  Complainant reported that an employee took some cash from the register of a business without authorization.

BURGLARY:  400 BLOCK OF TIMBERLAND.  Complainant reported that vagrants have broken into a vacant building and been making small cook fires inside and caused damage to the building. 

BURGLARY:  4600 BLOCK OF S MEDFORD.  Complainant reported that hair care products were stolen in a burglary of a business that occurred sometime in the early morning hours Monday.  

THEFT:  100 BLOCK OF CHRISTIE.  Complainant reported several plants were stolen from the landscaping of a business sometime Friday or Saturday.

CRIMINAL MISCHIEF:  1600 BLOCK OF DENMAN.  Complainant reported that a fence surrounding a business storage lot has been cut in two different places.     

THEFT:  100 BLOCK OF BOOKER ST.  Complainant reported that she left her purse at a friend's house over the weekend and the friend won't return the purse.

THEFT:  2200 BLOCK OF NILE ST. Complainant reported that her pit bull puppy was stolen from her residence Sunday night.
