Nacogdoches Police Report - 5/22/08

THEFT FROM A PERSON: 3500 BLOCK OF NORTH STREET. The suspect demanded money from the victim. The victim was in fear of personal safety. Sammy Polk was arrested.

CRIMINAL TRESPASS: 3200 BLOCK OF NORTH STREET. A suspect entered upon property after being given a criminal trespass warning. Sammy Polk was arrested.

CRIMINAL MISCHIEF: 4800 NORTH STREET. The complainant reported that unknown persons damaged his vehicle while parked and unattended.

THEFT: 2200 BLOCK OF NORTH STREET. Complainant reported that a former employee possibly stole money of an amount less than 1500.00 from a business.

POSSESSION OF MARIJUANA-POSSESSION OF A CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE: 200 BLOCK OF MACKECHNEY. Officers contacted occupant of an illegally parked vehicle. The suspect attempted to walk away and officers observed a large plastic baggie containing suspected marijuana and several multi-colored tablets. Antonio booker was arrested, and an occupant fled the area on foot.

FALSE REPORT-POSSESSION OF A CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE-POSSESSION OF A DANGEROUS DRUG: 5000 BLOCK OF EAST MAIN. Officers received a call concerning the welfare of a clerk at a store. When officers arrived, the clerk advised that a suspect had entered the store and hit her for refusing to sell alcohol to him, causing her to have a black eye. Upon closer inspection, officers discovered that the black eye was make-up. The security camera had also been repositioned. Officers arrested Lisa Figueroa for false report; officers also located controlled substances and dangerous drugs in a non-prescription bottle.

ASSAULT-POSSESSION OF A CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE-POSSESSION OF A DANGEROUS DRUG: 1800 BLOCK OF NORTH STREET. Officers were called to a disturbance. It was determined that Dow Guynes had physically assaulted another- no injuries. Charles Vanhoose was also present and had in his possession a suspected tab of LSD and dangerous drug tablets. Brandon Guynes, also present was found to be in possession of prescription medication without a prescription. All were arrested.

DEADLY CONDUCT: 2300 BLOCK OF LOONEYVILLE. Complainant reported that a known suspect came up alongside him in a vehicle and pointed a handgun at him. Warrant requested.

BURGLARY OF A HABITATION: 1600 BLOCK OF CARDINAL. Complainant reported that unknown suspects had entered his residence and removed a 12 ga. shotgun, a 30-30 rifle, two televisions and some medication. No forced entry located. Investigation underway.
