Lufkin Police Report - 5/29/08

BURGLARY/HABITATION: 300 BLOCK OF MANTOOTH. Complainant reported that his mother's residence was broken into between Monday and Wednesday night while she was away.  Complainant reported that some computer equipment was stolen.

BURGLARY/VEHICLE: 4600 BLOCK OF MEDFORD. Complainant reported that her purse was stolen from the back seat of a convertible while parked at a shopping mall Wednesday with the top down.  One of the stolen credit cards was used at a local gas station after the theft.

THEFT: 2100 BLOCK OF FIRST. Complainant reported that three people have made unauthorized withdrawals from his bank account to pay for insurance.  The complainant found out two of the names and didn't know either of them.

BURGLARY/VEHICLE: 900 BLOCK OF TRAILWOOD BL. Complainant reported that a case containing a laptop computer, some software and a pocket knife was stolen from his vehicle Tuesday or Wednesday.

THEFT/A: 4600 BLOCK OF S MEDFORD. Complainant reported that two push lawn mowers, five trimmers and one tiller were stolen from an outside store display Tuesday night.

ASSAULT: 300 BLOCK OF MEDFORD. Complainant reported that she was threatened with bodily harm by a known suspect last week.

STALKING: N TIMBERLAND. Complainant reported that boy ex-boyfriend followed her in his car Wednesday morning an almost struck her car with his car.  Complainant reported this is one incident in an ongoing pattern of following and aggressive behavior by the suspect.
