Wilfred "Randy" Randolph Simoneaux
Services for Wilfred "Randy" Randolph Simoneaux, 41, of Hudson, will be held at 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, June 3, 2008, in the Oakley-Metcalf Funeral Home Chapel, with Reverend Horace Fletcher officiating. Interment will follow in the Berry Cemetery.
Randy was born October 18, 1966, in Pascagoula, Mississippi, and he passed away at him home on Saturday, May 31, 2008, surrounded by his loving family.
Randy was a loving father, husband, son, uncle and nephew. He loved people and had many friends. He was a painter by profession for many years. His hobbies included fixing computers, fishing, watching movies and cooking on the grill. He had a special interest in classic cars and classical and rock music. Randy worked hard and loved and cared for his family. He was always trying to make people land and he had a good sense of humor. He was a very giving and kind-hearted person!
Survivors include his wife, Polly Glover Simoneaux of Hudson; daughter, Kristen R. Simoneaux of Hudson; sons, Steven R. Simoneaux and Wilfred R. Simoneaux, both of Hudson; father and stepmother, Nolan Anthony and Lula Simoneaux of Raceland, Louisiana; mother, Geraldine Curry of Lufkin; brother and sister-in-law, Gerald Christopher and Crystal Simoneaux of Lufkin; brother, David Simoneaux of Tyler; half-brother, Nolan Simoneaux, Jr. and wife Misty of Bellechase, Louisiana; half-sisters, Susan Langston and husband Billy of Franklinton, Louisiana, Debra Ellington and husband Jason of Mandville, Louisiana, Sandra Favors and husband Mark of Franklinton, Louisiana; and stepbrothers, Brent, Danny and Chris Ford of Louisiana; many nieces and nephews and other family members; and cherished friend, Dawn Russel.
Randy was preceded in death by his grandparents; Wilfred and Sodonia Simoneaux; and his mother's grandparents, Hazel May Darden and Thomas Randolph Curry.
Pallbearers will be Chris Simoneaux, Amos Fredregill, Steve Humphries, Jay Avriett, Jaimie Dowthitt and Sean Aaron Legg.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Monday evening at Oakley-Metcalf Funeral Home.
