Lufkin Police Report - 6/02/08

BURGLARY/BUILDING:  1500 BLOCK OF ATKINSON.  An officer on patrol found the front window broken out of a business early Monday morning and noted that the office desk appeared to have been rummaged through.  It was not known at the time of the report if anything was stolen.

BURGLARY/COIN OPERATED MACHINE: 1600 BLOCK OF ATKINSON.   Complainant reported that a soft drink machine was turned over and the front cover torn off in an apparent attempt to break into the machine Monday morning. No money was taken.

CRIMINAL MISCHIEF:  600 BLOCK OF CUNNINGHAM.  Complainant reported that someone threw eggs on her car while it was parked in her carport Sunday evening.

HARASSMENT:   3200 BLOCK OF OLD UNION RD.  Complainant reported receiving ongoing harassing and threatening phone calls from two known suspects.

CREDIT CARD ABUSE:  1000 BLOCK OF S JOHN REDDITT.  Complainant reported that their credit card was stolen from the counter of a store where she had left it while pumping gas Sunday evening.

HARASSMENT:  500 BLOCK OF E GROESBECK.  Complainant reported receiving repeated harassing phone calls from a known suspect continues to call after being asked to stop.

CRIMINAL MISCHIEF:   600 BLOCK OF MANTOOTH.  Complainant reported that graffiti had been spray painted on playground equipment at Mantooth Park over the weekend.

CRIMINAL MISCHIEF:  300 BLOCK OF HOMER.  Complainant reported that a known suspect broke her cell phone during an argument early Monday morning.
