Lufkin Police Report - 6/03/08

CRIMINAL MISCHIEF:  700 BLOCK OF RICKS.  Complainant reported that a known suspect broke a door handle off her father's car Monday afternoon.

BURGLARY:  600 BLOCK OF HARMONY HILL.  Complainant reported that a seldom used residence was broken into sometime within the past two weeks and a radio and two guns were stolen.

THEFT:  1000 BLOCK OF JONES.  Complainant reported that a baby cockatiel bird was stolen from a cage at her residence over the weekend.

ASSAULT:  1800 BLOCK OF DENMAN.  Complainant reported that her boyfriend choked her and hurt her leg during an argument Saturday night.  Complainant had no visible injuries from the assault.

CRIMINAL MISCHIEF:  200 BLOCK OF HOPKINS ST.  Complainant reported that a water meter locked for non-payment had been damaged when the resident turned it back on without authorization.

FORGERY/COUNTERFEITING:    2100 BLOCK OF FIRST ST.  Complainant reported that two unknown women cashed a forged check using the complainant's name to do so.

FELONY THEFT:  2100 BLOCK OF HOMEWOOD ST.  Complainant reported that a Yamaha ATV was stolen off a trailer in his back yard sometime during the past three days.

CRIMINAL MISCHIEF:  600 BLOCK OF MOORE AV.  Complainant reported that graffiti has been spray painted on several pieces of large equipment over the weekend.
