A Corrigan man who stole a Huntington police car on Saturday was formally charged with felony theft today. 27 year old Donald McKinney allegedly stole the car from Huntington and drove to Corrigan. After several tips authorities were able to track him down and after a short foot chase arrested him. Because McKinney wasn't found in the car it took investigators a few days to get information together for the case. McKinney did confess to stealing the car. Now he faces 2 to 10 years if convicted. He is also being held in jail for an outstanding warrant in Missouri. After his case in Angelina County he will be extradited to Missouri to face that charge.
