Nacogdoches Police Report - 6/09/08

POSSESSION OF MARIJUANA: 2300 BLOCK OF NW STALLINGS DRIVE. A vehicle was stopped for traffic and a passenger was found to have an outstanding probation warrant. Officers located a baggie of suspected marijuana under his seat. Alex Bohannon was arrested.

DOG BITE: 3200 BLOCK OF PRESS ROAD. A small child was bitten by the family dog. The child was treated at the hospital. Animal services was notified.

BURGLARY OF A HABITATION: 400 BLOCK OF DENNIS STREET. Complainant reported several items taken by a known suspect over the weekend. Complainant does not wish to file charges at this time.

BURGLARY OF A HABITATION: 4500 BLOCK OF NORTH UNIVERSITY DRIVE. Complainant reported the theft of an Xbox stolen from an apartment.

BURGLARY OF A HABITATION: 4700 BLOCK OF NORTH UNIVERSITY DRIVE. An apartment was forcibly entered and two cameras and a PS3 gaming system were taken.

MONEY LAUNDERING: 1700 BLOCK OF SW STALLINGS DRIVE. Officers contacted two suspects on the southwest loop on a traffic stop. Officers discovered approximately $10,000.00 in cash on the dashboard of the vehicle that was shrink wrapped. Reginald Brown and Arnett Rison were arrested.

POSSESSION OF MARIJUANA-RESISTING ARREST: 1700 BLOCK OF GREER STREET. Officers contacted the suspect for a traffic violation. Officer detected the strong odor of burning marijuana. The suspect resisted, and officers located an amount of suspected marijuana on his person. John Chatman was arrested.
