Lufkin Police Report - 6/11/08

ASSAULT/A: 1900 BLOCK OF SUNRISE. Complainant reported that her adult son came into her home without permission early Wednesday morning and grabbed her by the arms and shoved her.

UNAUTHORIZED USE OF A VEHICLE: 700 BLOCK OF HOSEA DOLPHUS SR. Complainant reported that three men were seen towing the complainant's pickup from his yard Tuesday.  The pickup was later located and the person who had the truck said he bought it from the complainant's estranged wife.  No arrests have been made.

BURGLARY/HABITATION: 2600 BLOCK OF S FIRST ST. A man and woman reported that the woman's ex-boyfriend barged into her apartment and assaulted both of them Tuesday evening.  The male complainant had cuts to his mouth and the female had bruising around her eye.

CRIMINAL MISCHIEF: 200 BLOCK OF CARRIAGE DR. Complainant reported that her adult daughter kicked in her bedroom Tuesday.

ASSAULT/C: 200 BLOCK OF E LUFKIN AV. Complainant reported that her common-law husband shoved her while they were leaving the courthouse Tuesday.

BURGLARY: 1500 BLOCK OF DENMAN AV. Complainant reported that the fence to a storage area was cut last Tuesday night and two cars were broken into.  A stereo was stolen from one car and a flip down DVD player was stolen from the other.

BURGLARY: 1000 BLOCK OF MITCHELL. Complainant reported that her home was broken into and some medication, a cell phone and lingerie were stolen Saturday night.

CRIMINAL MISCHIEF: 200 BLOCK OF S BYNUM ST. Complainant reported that someone wrote a note on her car windows Monday night that sugar had been poured into her gas tank.  No sugar was found around the gas filler opening.  Complainant reported that someone had put sugar in her gas tank last fall.

CRIMINAL MISCHIEF: 700 BLOCK OF HOSKINS ST. Complainant reported that the windshield on his van was cracked Monday night while parked at his home.  He believed someone threw a rock at it.
