Nacogdoches Police Report - 6/13/08

BURGLARY OF A VEHICLE: 3800 BLOCK OF NORTH STREET. Unknown suspect broke a window and slashed a tire on a parked vehicle. A Dell laptop computer was stolen from inside the vehicle.

UNLAWFUL RESTRAINT-BURGLARY OF A HABITATION-INTERFERENCE WITH EMERGENCY TELEPHONE CALL: 3400 BLOCK OF EAST MAIN. Complainant returned home and found a known suspect inside her apartment. An argument ensued, and the suspect assaulted the victim by choking her. She attempted to leave and the suspect would not let her leave and took her cell phone away so she could not call police. The victim screamed and the suspect fled the scene. Warrant requested.

ASSAULT: 1100 BLOCK OF RITCHIE STREET. During a disturbance, the suspect assaulted the victim physically. Complainant wished to file charges and Kreevetta Williams was arrested.

THEFT: 4810 NORTH STREET. WAL MART. Two females were observed by store security taking items without paying for them. Kayla Williams and Jenna Griffin were arrested.

DWI: 1500 BLOCK OF PEARL STREET. Vehicle was stopped for a traffic violation and the driver was suspected of being intoxicated. Monica Solis was arrested.

DOG BITE: 1200 BLOCK OF DOUGLASS ROAD. Complainant knocked on a door of a residence and was bitten by a small poodle. Animal control was notified.

GRAFFITI: 900 BLOCK OF WEST MAIN STREET. Officers were called to two suspects painting graffiti. Two suspects, Roberto Benitez and Demetro Alvarez were found in possession of spray paint and were arrested.

AGGRAVATED ROBBERY: 1000 NORTH UNIVERSITY-UNIVERSITY CHEVRON. A black male suspect entered the store and displayed a handgun. The suspect demanded money and lottery tickets. The suspect fled with an undetermined amount of money. He was last seen wearing a black hoodie with multi-colored designs, a blue ball cap, denim jeans, and black tennis shoes with red and white trim. Case under investigation.
