Nacogdoches Police Report - 6/24/08

DWI-FAIL TO STOP AND GIVE INFORMATION: 1600 BLOCK OF CARDINAL. A vehicle that had crash damage was stopped and the driver was suspected of being intoxicated. The vehicle had apparently been involved in an earlier accident on applebysand road with a concrete barrier. Hunter randolph was arrested.

BURGLARY OF A BUILDING: 2000 BLOCK OF NORTH STREET (SUNSHINE PLAZA). A suspect broke out the glass door of the business and broke out a glass on a gaming machine, removing an unddetermined amount of cash.

CRIMINAL MISCHIEF: 300 BLOCK OF COMMERCE. Complainant reported that unknown suspects used a sharp object to carve deep scratches into a vehicle.

THEFT: 1000 BLOCK OF SOUTH STREET. A female was observed placing items in her purse without paying for them. Nancy sterns was arrested.

THEFT: 1600 BLOCK OF PARK STREET. Complainant reported the theft of six double pane uninstalled windows from a construction site.

CRIMINAL MISCHIEF: 500 BLOCK OF SWEETGUM. Complainant reported that a known suspect threw a rock at his vehicle, breaking out a window. Warrant requested.

SEXUAL ASSAULT: 200 BLOCK OF PEARL STREET. Complainant reported pulling over to chech a tire. Complainant was then approached by a black male suspect who forced her into the area of banita creek where she was sexually assaulted. Case under investigation.

ASSAULT: 1500 BLOCK OF RAYBURN DRIVE. Complainant reported being pushed and clothing torn by a known suspect during a disturbance. No visible injuries and no charges were filed.

CRIMINAL MISCHIEF: 1600 BLOCK OF PRUITT HILL. Complainant reported that an unknown suspect had damaged a side of an apartment with an unknown object.

IDENTITY THEFT: 312 WEST MAIN. Complainant reported the unauthorized withdrawal of funds from his checking account.
