Lufkin Police Report - 6/25/08

ASSAULT/A: 500 BLOCK OF PAUL. Complainant reported that he was assaulted by a known suspect around midnight Tuesday.  Complainant had scratches on his forearms from the altercation.

THEFT/A: 300 BLOCK OF JACK. Complainant reported that his ex-girlfriend came into his yard Tuesday and stole his registered German Shepherd dog.

DISTURBANCE/DOMESTIC: 100 BLOCK OF CASPER. Complainant reported that he was assaulted with two men armed with a baseball bat Tuesday evening at a business on N. Timberland.  The complainant was treated at an emergency room for an injury to his arm.

BURGLARY/HABITATION: 900 BLOCK OF WILSON. Complainant reported that her home was broken into Monday or Tuesday and several electronic items and a bicycle were stolen.

ASSAULT/A: 2200 BLOCK OF ATKINSON DR. Complainant reported that he was assaulted by a known suspect who hit him with a board Tuesday.  Complainant had visible bruising to his upper arm and face.

FORGERY/COUNTERFEITING: 3200 BLOCK OF OLD UNION. Complainant reported that she received a fake check as payment for a car she was selling on-line.  The complainant recognized the check as fake and did not try to cash it.

THEFT: 400 BLOCK OF TIMBERLAND. Complainant reported that a man stole a bottle of wine from a store Tuesday afternoon.

THEFT: 1700 BLOCK OF LONG. Complainant reported that someone stole the electric meter from a vacant rent house over the weekend.

SEX OFFENDER REGISTR: 1600 BLOCK OF E DENMAN. A registered sex offender was found to have moved without notifying the police of his new address within the time frame required by state law.

CRIMINAL MISCHIEF: 700 BLOCK OF ALLENDALE ST. Complainant reported that her car was egged and had paint poured on it Monday night.
