Lufkin Police Report - 6/26/08

BURGLARY/VEHICLE: 200 BLOCK OF LOST PINES. Complainant reported that his car battery, an umpire bag and miscellaneous tools were stolen from his vehicle sometime within the past three days.

ASSAULT/A: 3000 BLOCK OF S FIRST. Complainant was found to have been assaulted and was bleeding from his face just after midnight.  The complainant was very intoxicated and gave several stories about what happened.

ASSAULT/C: 1700 BLOCK OF W FRANK. Complainant reported that an employee threatened him by holding a knife in an intimidating manner during a discussion over the employee's behavior.  The employee said they had a conversation while the employee was holding a knife because all the employees on that meat production line are holding knives as part of their job.

DISTURBANCE/DOMESTIC: 300 BLOCK OF MAGNOLIA. A couple reported mutual assault.  The female reported that the male hit her in the face and she did have a small cut to her lip.  The male reported that the female sped off in her car while he was leaning in the window trying to talk to her, dragging him a short distance.  The male had visible scrapes and scratches to his arms and legs.

THEFT: 100 BLOCK OF W SHEPHERD. Complainant reported electronics and shirts were stolen from a vacant apartment in his building where he had been storing them.  The items were located and returned.  They had had been taken by another building tenant who thought they had been abandoned in the vacant apartment.

ASSAULT: 500 BLOCK OF N BANKS. Complainant reported that he was assaulted by a known suspect while trying to repossess some property from the suspect Wednesday evening.  Complainant had a small red mark visible on his arm where he reported the suspect grabbed him and shoved him.

TERRORISTIC THREAT: 2400 BLOCK OF FRANK. Complainant reported that she was threatened with bodily harm by a known suspect Wednesday.

THEFT: 3500 BLOCK OF S MEDFORD. Complainant reported that some music CD's were stolen from his vehicle when it was repossessed Tuesday.

THEFT: 900 BLOCK OF JAMES. Complainant reported that his social security check and his wallet were stolen.

BURGLARY/VEHICLE: 200 BLOCK OF ROSEDALE. Complainant reported that her purse and stereo were stolen from her vehicle Tuesday night.  No signs of forced entry were found.

BURGLARY: 300 BLOCK OF ENGLEWOOD. Complainant reported that his cell phone was stolen from his unlocked car Monday night.

BURGLARY: 200 BLOCK OF KENTWOOD. Two women reported that their purses were stolen from their unlocked car Tuesday night.
