Nacogdoches Police Report - 6/27/08

BURGLARY OF A VEHICLE: 1600 BLOCK OF CARDINAL. A vehicle window was broken out and a Jensen stereo system was removed.

ASSAULT: 1600 BLOCK OF CARDINAL. Complainant was pushed into a wall by a known suspect during a disturbance. Warrant requested.

THEFT: 3100 BLOCK OF NORTH STREET. Complainant was quick-changed out of a small amount of money by a customer.

RACING: 4500 BLOCK OF NORTH STREET. Officer was on patrol and observed two vehicles in a contest of speed. Both vehicles were stopped and Christopher Griffin and Shaleah Hester were arrested.

CRIMINAL MISCHIEF: 4100 BLOCK OF WESTERN OAK. Complainant's vehicle mirror had been damaged by paint balls.

CRIMINAL TRESPASS-EVADING ARREST: Officers received  a call of a burglary of a vehicle in progress. Officers observed a male and female looking into vehicles. The male suspect ran from officers, and the female was detained by an off-duty Lufkin PD officer who was coming home from work. Officers captured and arrested Daniel Brewer . The female was a juvenile, and was reported as a runaway from Corpus Christi, Texas. She was also detained.

BURGLARY OF A HABITATION: 500 BLOCK OF HILL AVENUE. Two DVD's and a Playstation II were reported missing from a residence.
