The Lufkin DaVita Dialysis Clinic treated nine patients successfully yesterday. After being closed for 2 months the clinic has begun phasing patients back in and with the state monitors approval will continue to increase the number of patients.
While some East Texans have voiced their concerns about the dialysis center opening its doors again, company spokesman Michael Chee said the reopening went well. Chee said, "There were no concerns and both patients and staff are very happy to be back. The Lufkin dialysis center has received numerous calls from former patients asking when they will be able to return for their treatments."
