Lynndol Eugene Tullos
Funeral services for Lynndol Eugene Tullos, 68, of Apple Springs, Texas, will be held 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, July 9, 2008, in the Carroway-Claybar Funeral Home Chapel in Lufkin with Bro. Jim McDonald and Rev. Lindsey Nimmons, Jr., officiating. Interment will follow in the Johnson Cemetery near Centralia.
Mr. Tullos was born March 24, 1940, in Centralia, Texas, to the late Johnnie B. (Carswell) and Eldred "TeeWee" Tullos. He died Saturday, July 5, 2008, in a Lufkin hospice facility.
Mr. Tullos was retired from the Port Terminal Railroad in Houston, where he had worked as a clerk for 27 years. A resident of Centralia for most of his life, he had also lived in Humble for more than 25 years. Mr. Tullos was of the Baptist faith.
Survivors include wife, Gloria Tullos of Apple Springs; sons and daughters-in-law, Ricky L. and Rosalie Tullos, and Randi D. and Jennifer Tullos, all of Apple Springs; grandchildren, Cody and Clayton Tullos of Apple Springs; brothers and sisters-in-law, Billy Ray and Angel Lea Tullos of Limestone Lake, Texas, and Joe Bob and Linda Tullos of Apple Springs; as well as numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives.
Preceding Mr. Tullos in death were his parents and a brother, Jimmy L. Tullos.
Pallbearers will be his nephews.
The family will welcome friends and loved ones from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Tuesday evening at the funeral home.
