Lufkin Police Report - 7/08/08

CRIMINAL MISCHIEF: 400 BLOCK OF LOCKE. Complainant reported that someone sliced two of his truck tires Monday night.

ASSAULT/A: 100 BLOCK OF E LUFKIN AV. Complainant reported that she was assaulted by a known suspect during a disturbance Monday night.  Complainant had no visible injuries but complained of pain from having her hair pulled and being thrown to the ground.

SEX OFFENSES/OTHER: Complainant reported that a 13 year old girl was fondled by an adult male.

ASSAULT/AGG SEXUAL O: Complainant reported inappropriate sexual contact with two young children by a known adult male suspect.

THEFT: 300 BLOCK OF S JOHN REDDITT. Complainant reported that she left her cell phone on the stairway outside her apartment and it was stolen Sunday morning.

FORGERY/COUNTERFEITING: 100 BLOCK OF BUTLER. Complainant reported that he lost his checkbook in June and several checks have now been forged and passed.

FRAUD: 2500 BLOCK OF N JOHN REDDITT. Complainant reported that an unknown person is making unauthorized withdrawals from his bank account using his debit card information.

BURGLARY/BUILDING: 1000 BLOCK OF GRANT. Complainant reported that a business was broken into over the weekend and a computer and printer were stolen.

BURGLARY: 300 BLOCK OF CHAMPIONS DR. Complainant reported that his car was broken into and the stereo stolen early Monday morning.

BURGLARY/VEHICLE: 1500 BLOCK OF COPELAND BL. Complainant reported that two of her unlocked vehicles were entered Monday and a stereo, some CD's and insurance papers were stolen.

CRIMINAL MISCHIEF: 900 BLOCK OF CROOKED CREEK DR. Complainant reported that the convertible top to his car was cut in several places Sunday night.

BURGLARY: 1500 BLOCK OF COPELAND. Complainant reported that his wallet and stereo were stolen from his unlocked car Sunday night.  The complainant also reported that his credit card had been used Sunday night without his authorization.

FRAUD: 1000 BLOCK OF S TIMBERLAND DR. Complainant reported that a former employee stole several business checks and forged them.

BURGLARY/BUILDING: 300 BLOCK OF LAZY OAKS. Complainant reported that a maintenance shed was broken into and two lawn mowers and a trimmer were stolen over the holiday weekend.

CRIMINAL MISCHIEF: WHITE HOUSE. Complainant reported that and unknown quantity of diesel fuel was stolen from some heavy equipment parked at a road construction site over the weekend and that some wires and hoses had been pulled off one piece of equipment.

BURGLARY/VEHICLE: 3200 BLOCK OF OLD UNION. Complainant reported that the back deck containing two speakers was stolen from his unsecured car early Monday morning.
