A.C.'s Proby Signs With W. Virginia

by Ryan Peterson

Angelina College's Dee Proby, who had signed with Oklahoma State, will not be a Cowboy.  Proby asked to be released from his letter of intent after O.S.U. changed head coaches.  Sean Sutton was replaced by UMass' Travis Ford.

The Cowboys agreed and Proby has found an even better situation.  Angelina College head basketball coach Todd Neighbors says Proby recently signed with West Virginia, getting a chance to play for Bob Huggins.  The A.C. standout had originally turned down offers from Charlotte, Nebraska and Oklahoma.

Proby will head to West Virginia after finishing summer school at Angelina College.
