Former Angelina College pitcher Andrew Cashner has already made it to Wrigley Field. Cashner didn't up, but did throw the ceremonial first pitch, before the Cubs and Reds game on Thursday. The Cubs first round pick officially signed his first pro contract this morning.
The Cubs web site reports that Cashner threw for the teams pitching coach before the afternoon game. Now that he's signed, the former Runner will head to rookie ball in Mesa, Arizona.
