Lufkin Police Report - 7/11/08

BURGLARY/BUILDING: 500 BLOCK OF S TIMBERLAND. Officers responding to a burglar alarm at 3:15am found that a business had been broken into.  Management came to the scene and did not note anything missing.

BURGLARY/HABITATION: 100 BLOCK OF E DENMAN. Complainant reported that his home was broken into Thursday and a rifle was stolen.

ASSAULT: 2400 BLOCK OF N RAGUET. A man and woman reported mutual assault Thursday night.  The man reported that the woman slapped him and the woman reported that the man grabbed her by the arm, causing minor bruising.

BURGLARY/HABITATION: 300 BLOCK OF HOMER. Complainant reported that someone broke into her home in December and again in May and stole food from her freezer.

THEFT/B: 4600 BLOCK OF S MEDFORD. Complainant reported that three men stole some jewelry from a store Thursday afternoon.  One of the men, Robert Lee Tyler, 17, was detained and arrested for Theft.  The other two men got away with an undetermined amount of jewelry.

ASSAULT/A: 400 BLOCK OF PAUL ST. Complainant reported that her adult son struck her in the neck and head several times and threw a folding lawn chair at her during an argument Thursday afternoon.

TERRORISTIC THREAT: 3500 BLOCK OF N JOHN REDDITT. Complainant reported that she received a threatening phone call from a known suspect Thursday.

THEFT: 1800 BLOCK OF SAYERS. Complainant reported that two men got into his unlocked truck and stole his cell phone while he was mowing grass Thursday morning.

FORGERY/COUNTERFEITING: 600 BLOCK OF S FIRST. Complainant reported that her bank debit card was used to make several unauthorized transactions by an unknown suspect.

BURGLARY/HABITATION: 100 BLOCK OF GARVAN. Complainant reported that his daughter's home was broken into while she was out of town this week.  It's unknown if anything was stolen at the time of the report.

BURGLARY/HABITATION: 200 BLOCK OF E DENMAN. Complainant reported that her purse was stolen from inside her residence Wednesday night.
