ASSAULT: 3100 BLOCK OF NORTH UNIVERSITY DRIVE. Complainant advised that a known suspect had caused a disturbance and pushed the complainant in the face. Complainant did not wish to file.
DOG BITE: 2400 BLOCK OF PALUXY. Complainant advised that a small dog had bitten her while walking. Officers were unable to locate the dog.
DELIVERY OF A CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE TO A CHILD: 200 BLOCK OF NORTH STREET. Officers contacted a female suspect who was suspected of being intoxicated. Laura Blount was arrested. After the arrest, the suspect asked that medication be retrieved from a 13 year old that was in her company. Officers retrieved suspected Loritab and Valium from the child that was allegedly given to the child to hold for the suspect.
ASSAULT: 2100 BLOCK OF SUTTON STREET. Officers responded to a disturbance and found a victim that had been scratched on the face by a known suspect. The complainant refused to file charges.
FAILURE TO IDENTIFY: 1700 BLOCK OF GREER. Officers contacted a suspect who gave a false name. The suspect was identified as Tydrick Davis and an outstanding warrant was located. The suspect was arrested.
THEFT: 1100 BLOCK OF DOUGLASS ROAD. Complainant reported that tenants of a residence had moved out and took the appliances.
THEFT: 1200 BLOCK OF SOUTH STREET. Complainant left his wallet at a service desk and it was stolen.
INJURY TO A CHILD: 600 BLOCK OF OAKHILL PLAZA. During a disturbance, the suspect caused injury to a child (non-life threatening) and assaulted another adult. Byron Daniels was arrested.
POSSESSION OF A CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE-THEFT: 1700 BLOCK OF EAST MAIN. Officers stopped a suspicious vehicle and located a quantity of suspected crack cocaine. Officers also located a chain saw that had been reported stolen to the Sheriff's department. Terry Wayne Phipps was arrested.
POSSESSION OF A CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE: 1000 BLOCK OF DOUGLASS ROAD. Officers observed a suspect leave an area in a suspicious manner. The vehicle was stopped and officers observed the driver attempting to swallow suspected crack cocaine. Debra Ann Hall was arrested after the suspected crack was recovered.
