DaVita Gets More Patients

by Christa Lollis

DaVita Lufkin Dialysis was allowed to increase its number of patients today.  The clinic treated 15 patients today. That was an increase from the 9 they had been seeing in the last week since reopening.

State monitors are working in the clinic with DaVita employees until they deem the clinic ready to be operating on its own. DaVita spokesman Michael Chee told KTRE, "There are calls from patients wanting to know when they will be scheduled to return."  The clinic hopes to continue to increase their patient load and quickly get back up to full capacity.
