Nacogdoches Police Report - 7/14/08

POSSESSION OF A PROHIBITED WEAPON: 1700 BLOCK OF GREER. A juvenile male was contacted for suspicious activity. The suspect was found in possession of metal knuckles. He was released to juvenile authorities.

THEFT FROM A PERSON: 3000 BLOCK OF NORTH PECAN. Complainant reported that his wallet was snatched out of his hand by a white female. The suspect fled on foot and was unable to be located.

ASSAULT: 2700 BLOCK OF NORTH STREET. Complainant reported being struck in the face by a known suspect during a disturbance. No visible injury; complainant does not wish to file charges.

BURGLARY OF A VEHICLE: 2800 BLOCK OF PEARL STREET. Complainant reported that a vehicle was broken into through the sliding glass window. A stereo system was taken.

ROBBERY: 200 BLOCK OF EAST LAKEWOOD. Complainant was visiting at an apartment when several suspects entered and knocked him down.

UNAUTHORIZED USE OF A VEHICLE: 2200 BLOCK OF SOUTH STREET. Complainant reported locking the keys in a 2000 Chevrolet Blazer. When the complainant returned with a spare set of keys, the vehicle was missing.

THEFT OF A FIREARM: 100 BLOCK OF MUCKLEROY. Complainant reported that a known suspect had stolen a .380 pistol from him.
