Texas Alliance: Helping Kids Fight Drugs

The Texas Alliance For Drug Endangered Children is helping Texas kids fight back.

The alliance held a training session today to bring social workers, law enforcement and other entities together to learn how to better protect children.

Alliance officials say, in the past, focus was put on parents and their crimes. Now they want to focus on the children involved.

"We're here to educate them and teach them how to work together so that there's no grey area for these kids to fall through and not get the attention that they need," said Vanessa Sanford, Texas Alliance Trainer.

The alliance is holding these sessions in cities across texas to help those who help children have a chance.
