Lufkin Police Report - 7/16/08

THEFT: 800 Block SHERMELL. Complainant reported that his fence was cut and a utility trailer and lawnmower were stolen from his yard early Wednesday morning.

CRIMINAL MISCHIEF:  1500 Block FIRST. Complainant reported that his Jeep was broken into and his cell phone stolen early Wednesday morning.

CRIMINAL MISCHIEF: 600 Block N RAGUET. Complainant reported that her boyfriend tore up their apartment during an argument early Wednesday morning.  Paint had been poured on the floor and sofa, all the items in the refrigerator had been pulled out, a hole was punched in the wall and a window was broken.

ASSAULT: 300 Block LAZY OAKS. Complainant reported that her husband hit her during an argument early Wednesday morning.  Complainant had no visible injuries.

RETALIATION: 400 Block LOCKE AL. Complainant reported that a known suspect has been calling and threatening her because of some previous charges filed on the suspect.

ASSAULT: 300 Block CHAMPIONS. Two adult brothers reported mutual assault that occurred during an argument Tuesday night.  Both had extremely minor visible injuries that required no medical treatment.

HARASSMENT: 1100 Block MANTOOTH. Complainant reported that she has received several harassing and annoying phone calls from an unknown person.   

ACCIDENT/HIT & RUN: 300 Block S TIMBERLAND DR. Complainant reported that a pickup struck her and left the scene of the accident Tuesday.  The truck was located later and the driver was ticketed for traffic charges and a warrant has been requested for Failure to Stop and Render Aid.

THEFT: 2600 Block S MEDFORD DR. Complainant reported that two tractor tires were stolen from an outside storage yard over the Fourth of July holiday weekend.

FRAUD: 1700 Block W FRANK ST. Complainant reported that while applying for a job he learned that someone else at the plant was already using his social security number to work.

BURGLARY: 1100 Block DENMAN. Complainant reported that several vehicles parked at an auto shop were broken into Monday night.  A video game, a DVD player and two screens and coin purse were the only things noted missing.

CRIMINAL MISCHIEF: 100 Block ARMORY DR. Complainant reported that a door window on his car was broken out by an unknown suspect Tuesday evening.

CRIMINAL MISCHIEF: 1500 Block COPELAND. Complainant reported that all four of her car tires were cut sometime Monday night.
