Lufkin Police Report - 7/17/08

DISTURBANCE/DOMESTIC: 3500 Block JOHN REDDITT. Complainant reported that her ex-boyfriend shoved her down during an argument early Thursday morning.  The complainant was not injured.     

INCIDENT/INFORMATION: 300 Block SHEPHERD. Complainant reported that he dropped his wallet while getting gas at a station on N. Raguet Tuesday afternoon.  The complainant viewed video surveillance from the store with store management and a known suspect was seen with the wallet which was never turned in.

WELFARE CONCERN: 400 Block MANTOOTH. A 29 year old man was found deceased in his apartment Wednesday afternoon.  There were no outward signs of foul play, an autopsy has been ordered.

FRAUD: 400 Block LAUREL. Complainant reported that an unknown suspect obtained a credit card in her name using her identifying information.

THEFT/B: 4200 Block S MEDFORD DR. Complainant reported internal theft by an employee by giving some items to customers without charging them and charging them for gift cards they didn't receive.

THEFT: 500 Block MEDFORD. Complainant reported that an employee was seen stealing company items on July 4.  The employee reneged on a promise to pay for the stolen items and the company wants to file theft charges.

THEFT: 300 Block SHEPHERD. Complainant reported that she let her son borrow her laptop computer and it was stolen from him by a known suspect who has refused to return it.

BURGLARY/VEHICLE: 300 Block LAZY OAKS. Complainant reported that her wallet was stolen from her car Tuesday night.

THEFT/FELONY: 1400 Block MEDFORD. Complainant reported that five used air conditioning units, a generator, four tires and wheels and a toolbox were stolen from an outside fenced storage lot sometime Tuesday night.
