Lufkin Police Report - 7/23/08

CRIMINAL MISCHIEF: 1800 BLOCK OF SAYERS. Complainant reported that a known suspect put dents in his front door by banging on it and broke out several windows on his apartment before leaving the scene early Wednesday morning.

CRIMINAL MISCHIEF: 1800 BLOCK OF SAYERS. Complainant reported that a driveway gate was damaged by a vehicle driving through the gate while it was closed Tuesday night.

ASSAULT/A: 1800 BLOCK OF SAYERS. Complainant reported that a known suspect hit him several times with his fists early Wednesday morning.  The top three cases are all believed to be related with one suspect.

ASSAULT/AGGRAVATED: 200 BLOCK OF CHURCH. Complainant reported that two women attacked her with a ball bat and a knife Tuesday night.  The complainant was not injured.

BURGLARY/VEHICLE: 1200 BLOCK OF FRANK AV. Complainant reported that her car was entered Tuesday evening but nothing was noted missing.

BURGLARY/HABITATION: 3200 BLOCK OF NERREN AV. Complainant reported that her home was broken into sometime during the past week while she was away.  The suspect(s) stole a TV and a computer and drank some beer and soft drinks from the refrigerator.

THEFT: 3800 BLOCK OF S MEDFORD DR. Complainant reported that the front license plate of his company pickup was stolen Tuesday afternoon.

THEFT/B: 2500 BLOCK OF DANIEL MCCALL. Complainant reported that her purse was stolen from her shopping cart while she was loading groceries into her car.  When she called to cancel her credit card someone had already tried to use it at a local service station.

BURGLARY/VEHICLE: 900 BLOCK OF GLENN ST. Complainant reported that her wallet was stolen sometime Sunday or Monday, from her car she thinks.  Someone tried to use her credit card at a local store early Monday morning.

THEFT/C: 1400 BLOCK OF N JOHN REDDITT D. Complainant reported that the license plate from a trailer was stolen Monday night.

THEFT: 400 BLOCK OF TIMBERLAND. Complainant reported that two outside air conditioner units were disassembled and the copper parts cut out Monday night.

THEFT: 1400 BLOCK OF TULANE. Complainant reported that two potted plants and two lawn chairs were stolen from her porch Monday night.

THEFT: 1000 BLOCK OF O QUINN. Complainant reported that his driveway was broken up and the material stolen sometime Monday or Monday night.  The driveway material was scrap metal "slag" from a local foundry and the complainant believes it was sold for scrap metal.
