Nacogdoches Police Report - 7/23/08

UNAUTHORIZED USE OF A VEHICLE: 400 BLOCK OF OTIS STREET. Complainant loaned his 2001 Lincoln Town Car to a known suspect who has not returned it.

GRAFFITI: 2100 BLOCK OF PRESS ROAD. Unknown suspects spray painted complainant's tin building.

THEFT: 4810 NORTH STREET. A juvenile male suspect was observed removing magnetic strips from video games. The suspect was released to parent.

HIT AND RUN: 1000 BLOCK OF SOUTH STREET. Complainant advised that a white female in a red truck backed into complainant's vehicle and left the scene.

AGGRAVATED ASSAULT: 1200 BLOCK OF SOUTH FREDONIA. Complainant advised that during a disturbance with a 15 year old juvenile, the juvenile produced a knife and caused a minor scratch on complainant's hand. Complainant did not wish to file charges.

BURGLARY OF A HABITATION: 100 BLOCK OF MACKECHNEY. Complainant returned from out of town and found the front door of an apartment kicked in. Nothing taken.

CRIMINAL MISCHIEF: 1500 BLOCK OF CREEKSIDE. Two vehicles parked on the street had mirrors damaged.

ESCAPE: 1200 BLOCK OF NORTH UNIVERSITY DRIVE. Officer stopped a vehicle for a traffic violation. The driver, James Thacker, was found to have outstanding warrants. Suspect then pushed the officer and fled down university drive on foot. He was captured and arrested.

BURGLARY OF A HABITATION-ASSAULT: 5000 BLOCK OF COLONIAL DRIVE. A known suspect entered a residence without permission and punched the complainant in the eye area. The victim sustained a cut below the eye. Suspect was gone on arrival and a warrant has been requested.

RESISTING ARREST-ASSAULT- CRIMINAL MISCHIEF: 300 BLOCK OF OAKHILL PLAZA. Suspect Willie Anderson assaulted a victim physically and broke out a window. The suspect then resisted officers upon arrival and was arrested.
