Lufkin father and son argument leads to shots fired and lands one in jail

LUFKIN, TX (KTRE) - Sunday night, Lufkin Police say Frank Kelly, Junior and his son starting arguing, so the son decided to leave.

But before he could drive away, Kelly got his shotgun and started firing.

One of the bullets hit his son's truck, as well as another vehicle nearby.

Police say the son was not injured.

Kelly was taken to jail for deadly conduct and aggravated assault with a deadly weapon.
