Man busted in Lufkin for cocaine in diaper bag

LUFKIN, TX (KTRE) - Christopher Williams was stopped last night for speeding and no license plate light.

That's when deputies smelled burning marijuana coming from the vehicle.

They searched the car and Williams.

Deputies found a small amount of marijuana in his pocket and 1 ½ ounces of cocaine, which is said to be worth $1,500 to $3,500 dollars on the street.

The cocaine was found in a diaper bag in the back seat of the car Williams was driving.

Williams was arrested and charged with possession of a controlled substance, which is a second degree felony.
