TYLER (KTRE) - A Lufkin man who committed his crimes in other counties has been sentenced to 37 months in federal prison.

Twenty-seven-year-old Calandris Lamb was convicted of burglary in Bell county in 2000. As a convicted felon, he was then prohibited from owning a gun.

But in February of this year, Lamb pleaded guilty to being a felon in possession of a firearm. The Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives was involved in the investigation.
