LUFKIN, TX (KTRE) - A Lufkin man was killed this morning driving home from an overnight shift at work.

19-year-old Bradley Wayne Due was driving on FM 39 just north of Normangee when troopers say he fell asleep behind the wheel.

His car crossed the roadway and hit a tree. Due was pronounced dead at the scene. His father owns Due's Wrecker Service in Angelina County.

The loss of the 19-year-old has hit close to home for law enforcement agencies in the area because they often deal with the Due family's wrecker service. He was also the great grandson of Angelina County Constable R.T Due.
