Lufkin Police Report - 8/05/08

THEFT/B: 300 BLOCK OF SOUTH END.   Complainant reported that his cell phone was stolen when he left it at a friend's house Monday night.

THEFT/B: 500 BLOCK OF N JOHN REDDITT. Complainant reported that her purse was stolen from her workplace Friday.

UNAUTHORIZED USE OF A VEHICLE: 100 BLOCK OF BROADDUS ST. Complainant reported that her son's car was towed over a month ago when he was arrested and the car has since been sold to a salvage yard by the person who towed it.

THEFT/B: 500 BLOCK OF N JOHN REDDITT. Complainant reported that some prescription medications were stolen from a medication cart at a nursing home Monday.

BURGLARY/VEHICLE: 300 BLOCK OF S CHESTNUT ST. Complainant reported that a music CD was stolen out of his car Monday afternoon.

THEFT/C: 1300 BLOCK OF N TIMBERLAND. Complainant reported that four young men came into a store Saturday evening and each of the suspects stole several candy bars and snack items.

BURGLARY/BUILDING: 400 BLOCK OF KURTH DR. Complainant reported that his business was broken into Sunday night and two commercial shampoo machines and three toolboxes full of tools were stolen.

THEFT: 2100 BLOCK OF S FIRST. Complainant reported that the license plate off a company vehicle was stolen Sunday or Monday.

BURGLARY/ATTEMPT: 600 BLOCK OF S BYNUM ST. Complainant reported that an unknown person tried to force entry into his service station over the weekend.  The suspect apparently did gain entry into the building. 

BURGLARY/VEHICLE: 4000 BLOCK OF N MEDFORD DR. Complainant reported that a CB radio, an amplifier, a TV/VCR combo and some tools were stolen from his truck over the weekend.

CRIMINAL MISCHIEF: 600 BLOCK OF MOORE ST. Complainant reported that several windows were broken out of a building over the weekend.
