Teacher Pleads Guilty

NACOGDOCHES, TX (KTRE) - Nacogdoches high school coach, Dana Crenshaw, waived her right to indictment this morning and plead guilty.

The coach was charged with an improper relationship with a student.  She was sentenced to five years deferred adjudication.

Crenshaw was also forced to give up her teaching certificate and can never get another one.  During her probation she can not work in education at all.  After that time is up, she can work in a school, but will not be allowed to teach.

In addition to those punishments, Crenshaw was also ordered to have no contact with the student in question. She has to pay a two thousand dollar fine and five thousand dollars to the school district for any fees they acquired during case.
