Lufkin Police Report - 8/11/08

ASSAULT:  2500 BLOCK OF DAVISVILLE.  Complainant reported that her boyfriend punched her in the nose during an argument early Monday morning.  The complainant had a bloody nose but did not require medical treatment.

CRIMINAL MISCHIEF:  400 BLOCK OF LYNN.  Complainant reported that someone spray painted the side and hood of her car and broke out a window and damaged the windshield Sunday night.

CRIMINAL MISCHIEF:  500 BLOCK OF PERSHING.  Complainant reported that a rock was thrown the window of her car Sunday night.

BURGLARY/VEHICLE:  4500 BLOCK OF S MEDFORD.  Complainant reported that her car was broken into Sunday and the stereo and a radar detector were stolen.

DRUG ACTIVITY:  1800 BLOCK OF SAYERS ST.  A known suspect fled from a uniformed officer working an off-duty security detail Saturday night.  The suspect was seen with drugs and money in his vehicle and fled when the officer attempted to apprehend him. Warrants for fleeing, tampering with evidence and driving with a suspended license have been requested.

BURGLARY/BUILDING:  100 BLOCK OF W SHEPHERD AV.  Complainant reported that four power tools were stolen during the break-in of a storage building over the weekend.

THEFT:  1600 BLOCK OF ATKINSON.  Complainant reported that a male suspect stole some items from the store Sunday afternoon.  The suspect fled and the complainant saw his pockets bulging but didn't know what was stolen.

CRIMINAL MISCHIEF:  4200 BLOCK OF N MEDFORD DR.  Complainant reported that the valve stems were cut off the back tires on her car Saturday night, flattening both rear tires.
