Lufkin Police Report - 8/14/08

DISTURBANCE/DOMESTIC: 1500 Block BRIARWOOD. Complainant reported that his girlfriend backed into him with her car during an argument Thursday morning.  The complainant reported some knee pain but declined medical treatment and didn't want to file any charges.

ASSAULT: 100 Block S FIRST. Complainant reported that he was assaulted by his roommate and two of the roommate's friends Wednesday night.  The suspects all stated the complainant started it and all four parties to the disturbance gave different accounts of how the complainant got a busted lip and swelling to his face. Referred to detectives.

ASSAULT/C: 900 Block WESTBURY. Complainant reported that her boyfriend grabbed her by the arms during a disturbance and slammed a cell phone shut on her thumb Wednesday night.  The complainant had no visible injuries.

THEFT: 1200 Block W FRANK. Complainant reported that a known suspect stole $100 from his person Wednesday evening while visiting him in the hospital.

CRIMINAL MISCHIEF: 700 Block HOSEA DOLPHUS SR. Complainant reported that a window had been broken out on his house Wednesday.

THEFT/A: 1000 Block CHAMPIONS. Complainant reported that a computer and a vehicle registration sticker were stolen from a residence that they are in the process of moving from Monday.

THEFT: 1500 Block W FRANK. Complainant reported that a Delco brand chop saw was stolen from a business Tuesday night.

UNAUTHORIZED USE OF VEHICLE:  400 Block TOWER. Complainant reported that his work truck was stolen Tuesday night.  The truck was recovered in a creek off Homer-Alto Road in Angelina County with several thousand dollars worth of tools and equipment missing Wednesday morning.
