Three arrests total for Catfish King Murder

LUFKIN, TX (KTRE) - The Catfish King trigger man is still in the hospital, but two new suspects in the shooting are behind bars.

They were caught over the weekend after authorities found out the original suspect, Brian Martin Womack, had help.

Robert Dewayne Buschman, 21, was arrested during a traffic stop Saturday night.  Jarred Q. Berwick, 18, turned himself in Sunday morning.

Both are from Lufkin and both have been charged with capital murder, aggravated robbery and aggravated assault.

Police say Buschman and Berwick helped Womack plan last weekend's robbery.

"These men can be charged with the same crime as Womack, even though they weren't present at the shooting and didn't pull the trigger. They participated in the planning and dropping him off, so they are charged with the exact same crime," says Lt. David Young with the Lufkin Police.

Police think they two didn't come back to pick Womack up because they heard the gunshots and saw patrol cars surrounding the area.

There's no word yet on when Womack will get out of the hospital, but he is still under 24-hour police surveillance.

Labrozzi's funeral was held last Friday.
