Three Charged in Connection to Hudson Bomb Scare

Angelina County Sheriff Kent Henson has told the East Texas News that two people have been charged for their part in a bomb scare at Hudson ISD on Monday.

The two turned themselves in on Tuesday, while a third is expected to turn himself in Thursday.

Sheriff Henson says the two who turned themselves in on Tuesday have bonded out on $1500 bond each.

They are 18 year old Matthew Haney and 17 year old Jared Haney, both of Hudson.

They are both charged with criminal conspiracy to commit felony criminal mischief.

On Monday, a bomb squad from Bossier City, LA, the FBI, and the ATF were all called to Hudson ISD where a suspicious container was found.

After the container was destroyed, it was discovered that it contained plaster.
