Trinity County Grand Jury Indicts Woman in Connection to Hit and Run Fatality

A Trinity County grand jury yesterday indicted a Louisiana woman for her involvement in a fatal hit and run back in April of this year.

DPS Trooper  Rae Shell Lee told the East Texas News that Lacie Marie Clements was indicted for failure to stop and render aid.

The accident happened early Saturday morning on April 26th, near Jimmy's Bar off highway 94... just point 2 miles west of the Neches river.

35-year-old Richard Michael Tolly was walking near the roadway, when Clements, the driver of a silver Kia sedan, allegedly hit Tolly, turned around in a parking lot, and traveled back toward Lufkin.
