Nacogdoches Police Report - 9/3/08

ASSAULT: 1800 BLOCK OF NORTH STREET. Officers responded to a disturbance where two individuals had slapped each other. No injuries, and neither wished to file charges.

THEFT: 600 BLOCK OF NE STALLINGS. Complainant reported a prescription bottle containing a controlled substance missing from a purse.

THEFT: 4900 BLOCK OF NW STALLINGS DRIVE. Suspect left a store without paying for $83 in gasoline after his credit card was denied.

ASSAULT: 1800 BLOCK OF CHERRYBROOK. A known suspect assaulted another during an argument. No injuries, case under investigation.

BURGLARY OF A VEHICLE: 2800 BLOCK OF LOGAN CIRCLE. Complainant reported a purse taken from an unlocked parked vehicle.

CRIMINAL MISCHIEF: 2600 BLOCK OF NORTH STREET. An unknown suspect broke the window out of a building. Nothing taken.

THEFT: 3000 BLOCK OF WESTWARD DRIVE. A small amount of cash money was taken out of a locked office over the weekend. Case under investigation.

IDENTITY THEFT: 1000 BLOCK OF DOUGLASS ROAD. An unknown suspect used the victim's identity to work in Florida.

THEFT: 1000 BLOCK OF DOUGLASS ROAD. A refrigerator was missing from an apartment after a tenant moved out.

EVADING ARREST: 700 BLOCK OF ORTON STREET. A suspect fled from officers who were attempting to serve a warrant on him. Darrell Young was captured and arrested.

HIT AND RUN: 300 BLOCK OF ELLINGTON. A vehicle was struck by an unknown vehicle which left the scene.
