Lufkin Police Report - 9/5/08

ASSAULT/A: 2000 Block N TIMBERLAND. Complainant reported that her husband threatened her and broke her cell phone in half when she tried to call 911 during a disturbance Thursday night.  She also reported that he kicked her, but no injury was visible.

FORGERY/COUNTERFEITING: 300 Block E SHEPHERD. Complainant reported that several checks were stolen from her vehicle and forged at different stores in Lufkin.

DISTURBANCE/DOMESTIC: 2900 Block S JOHN REDDITT. Complainant reported that a known suspect bent the windshield wiper on her truck during a disturbance Thursday night and later called her and threatened the complainant.

BURGLARY/HABITATION: 3500 Block N JOHN REDDITT. Complainant reported that his apartment was broken into Thursday and several electronic items were stolen.

THEFT: 300 Block S MEDFORD. Complainant reported that his son's wallet and cell phone were stolen from his locker at high school athletics Thursday afternoon.

THEFT/B: 400 Block TRAYLOR. Complainant reported that a known suspect stole his prescription medications Thursday afternoon.

THEFT/C: 3000 Block S JOHN REDDITT. Complainant reported that two men and a woman stole a video game from a store Thursday afternoon.

UNAUTHORIZED USE OF VEHICLE: 1600 Block WOOD AV. Complainant reported that a known suspect stole his car Thursday.  The suspect returned the car Thursday and no charges were filed.

BURGLARY/VEHICLE: 700 Block LINING. Complainant reported that his prescription medications were stolen from his vehicle Wednesday night.

TERRORISTIC THREAT: 300 Block HOMER. Complainant reported receiving a threatening phone call from a known suspect Thursday morning.

ASSAULT: 1400 Block BROADMOOR. Complainant reported that his girlfriend hit him, kicked him, hit him repeatedly with a door and ran over his foot while leaving in her car during an argument Thursday morning.  The complainant had visible minor injuries to his foot but nothing visible anywhere else on his body.
