NACOGDOCHES, TX (KTRE) - As expected all along, a plea agreement has been reached between Nacogdoches businessman George Hudgins and U.S. Prosecutors. Hudgins is scheduled to enter a guilty plea Tuesday afternoon in Beaumont. Right now Hudgins is charged with wire fraud, embezzlement and money laundering. He ran a commodity trading operation. Investors lost millions of dollars. Once the plea is formally heard, Hudgins will have to wait sixty to ninety days for the completion of a pre sentencing report. Once completed he'll learn his punishment. Judge Thad Heartfield will hear the case.
