LUFKIN, TX (KTRE) - An Angelina County sentenced Tavaeras Kimble to 50 years in prison.

The jury handed down three guilty verdicts today.

Kimble was found guilty of aggravated sexual assault and sentenced to 50 years and a 10,000 dollar fine.  The second charge he was found guilty of is burglary of a habitation.  He was given 10 years for that and a 5,000 dollar fine.  For the kidnapping charge he was sentenced to 5 years in prison and a 2,000 dollar fine.

He can serve the sentences concurrently but he has to serve at least 25 years before he is eligible to parole.

The charges stem from October of 2007 when his on again off again girlfriend says Kimble took her against her will and forced sexual acts on her. She managed to get away two days later and called for help.
