Nacogdoches Police Report - 9/11/08

BURGLARY-POSSESSION OF CRIMINAL INSTRUMENTS: 1122 NORTH UNIVERSITY (MALL). People who walk in the mall in the early mornings reported two suspicious persons inside the mall at 6:00 am yesterday. Officers arrived and found them burglarizing the peanut shack. Darius Prophet and Shane Landry were arrested.

CRIMINAL MISCHIEF: SEVERAL LOCATIONS. The following locations had windows shot by BB guns:

109 WETTERMARK (FLASHBACK CAFÉ)

200 BLOCK OF WETTERMAEK-VEHICLE WINDOW

1100 BLOCK OF WELLS- VEHICLE WINDOW

1019 SOUTH-SHIPLEY DO NUTS

600 BLOCK OF ESTHER-VEHICLE WINDOW.

POSSESSION OF A CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE: 700 BLOCK OF DURST. Officers contacted Jason Johnson on a case follow up and was found to be in possession of suspected controlled substance. He was arrested.

THEFT: 800 BLOCK OF JORDAN. Complainant reported the theft of a driver license.

CREDIT CARD ABUSE: 4800 BLOCK OF NORTH STREET. Complainant from Frisco, Texas reported that his credit card was used in Nacogdoches without permission.

TELEPHONE HARASSMENT: 312 WEST MAIN. Complainant reported receiving phone calls from a known suspect in California on a cell phone.

THEFT: 500 BLOCK OF STEEN DRIVE. Complainant reported the theft of a purse from a residence.
