Nacogdoches Police Report - 9/18/08

POSSESSION OF MARIJUANA: 200 BLOCK OF MITCHELL STREET. Officer stopped a vehicle for a traffic violation. Officer detected a strong odor of marijuana coming from inside the vehicle. Officer located a gallon zip lock bag containing suspected marijuana. Robert Barkley was arrested.

ASSAULT: 2000 BLOCK OF NORTH STREET. Officers contacted a complainant at the hospital. Complainant advised that he had been in a fight with a known suspect on North Street. Complainant refused to file charges.

POSSESSION OF A DANGEROUS DRUG: 1100 BLOCK OF NORTH STREET. Officer contacted an intoxicated person. The suspect was in possession of prescription medication without a prescription. Amanda Reasoner was arrested.

ASSAULT-CRIMINAL TRESPASS: 700 BLOCK OF MOUND STREET. Officers were called to a residence. Several suspects were on the scene and had been told to leave. One of the suspects punched the complainant. Jason Rudisill was arrested for theft and trespass, john Bentley was arrested for trespass.

THEFT: 600 BLOCK OF VIRGINIA AVENUE. While officer was on patrol, he observed a suspicious vehicle. The vehicle fled, but a male attempting to get in the vehicle was left behind. Officer found this suspect to be in possession of a length of copper wire and a pair of bolt cutters. It was determined that the copper came from a downed power line. Justin Colwell was arrested. Warrants requested for three others.

EVADING ARREST-POSSESSION OF A DANGEROUS DRUG: 2400 BLOCK OF DOUGLASS HIGHWAY. Officers were dispatched to a disturbance. A suspect fled on foot and was captured. Daniel Barrella was arrested. Eulana Moreno was found to be in possession of a dangerous drugs. She was also arrested.

THEFT: 1700 NORTH STREET. Complainant was in a minor accident. Complainant handed his driver license to the other driver for information purposes. The other driver got into his vehicle, with complainant's DL, and drove away.

INCIDENT REPORT: 3400 BLOCK OF SOUTH STREET. Officers were asked to assist the Texas Attorney General's office on a price gouging complaint at hotel Nacogdoches. Information gathered and given to AG's office for investigation.

CRIMINAL MISCHIEF: 1600 BLOCK OF CARDINAL. Unknown suspects keyed a vehicle in a parking lot overnight.

POSSESSION OF MARIJUANA: 100 BLOCK OF BOWIE STREET. Suspect was stopped for traffic. Stevenson Louis Sanders was found to be in possession of suspected marijuana and was arrested.

THEFT: 600 BLOCK OF EAST HOSPITAL. Complainant reported the theft of several clothing items and china.

BURGLARY OF A HABITATION: 4700 BLOCK OF NORTH UNIVERSITY DRIVE. Neighbors witnesses the suspects break out a window on a residence. The suspects fled and were captured by police on Moore Street. Kenny Christopher, Tymonddus Bell, and Clifton White were arrested.
