Nacogdoches Police Report - 9/19/08

BURGLARY OF A BUILDING: 700 BLOCK OF PARK STREET. Officers were dispatched to a suspicious person call on Lanana Street. A suspect had left a bag in a back yard. Officers determined the bag had been taken from a vehicle in a garage on Park Street.

CRIMINAL TRESPASS-BURGLARY OF A VEHICLE (5 CASES). Officers were dispatched to an automatic alarm at Joey Ross Towing. Officers observed a male in a vehicle in the storage yard, he was captured. Matthew Chandler was arrested.

ASSAULT: 2900 SANTA FE PLACE. A disturbance resulted in a victim being assaulted. No injuries. After interviewing all involved, no arrests were made.

RACING- DWI: 1700 BLOCK OF NORTH STREET. Officers observed a vehicle spinning its tires leaving a private drive. The vehicle was stopped and Brandon Guynes was suspected of being intoxicated and was arrested.

FOUND PROPERTY: 900 BLOCK OF VIRGINIA. A black Mongoose bike was found abandoned in a yard.

BURGLARY OF A BUILDING: A beauty shop was entered and a TV, some cash and checks were stolen.

BURGLARY OF A HABITATION: 1300 BLOCK OF SHAWNEE. Two pairs of shoes were stolen from a residence.

BURGLARY OF A HABITATION-INTERFERING WITH 9-1-1 CALL: 3900 BLOCK OF RED OAK. A known suspect was inside a residence awaiting the arrival of an ex-spouse. The suspect attempted to stop the victim from calling police and fled before police arrived. Warrant requested.

THEFT OF A FIREARM: 300 BLOCK OF ELLINGTON. A known suspect stole a shotgun from the victim. The gun was recovered in a pawn shop.
