Nacogdoches Police Report - 10/6/08

RECOVERY OF HUMAN REMAINS: LANANA CREEK CORRIDOR-SOUTH OF MAIN STREET/NORTH OF RAILROAD TRESTLE. Two teenage boys who were fishing Saturday evening on Lanana Creek located a human skull in the creek. The skull was taken to the police department to be submitted for analysis. Officers searched the area on the creek and were unable to find any further items. No other information at this time, investigation underway.

THEFT: 1100 BLOCK OF SOUTH FREDONIA. A wallet was reported stolen from the front seat of a vehicle.

FOUND PROPERTY: 300 BLOCK OF LEWIS STREET. A green mountain bike was recovered abandoned.

BURGLARY OF A VEHICLE: 200 BLOCK OF NW STALLINGS. A Canon camera was stolen from a parked and unattended vehicle.

THEFT: 3800 BLOCK OF NORTH STREET. Complainant reported two unauthorized withdrawals from a bank account.

CREDIT CARD ABUSE: 400 BLOCK OF WEST AUSTIN. Officers discovered a stolen credit card. Officers arrested Billy Hammock for being in possession of the card.

AGGRAVATED ROBBERY: 200 BLOCK OF WEST CALIFORNIA. Complainant got a ride with an unknown suspect. The suspect took complainant's wallet and credit cards and struck the victim in the head. The victim was admitte dto memorial hospital for injuries. Investigation underway.

ASSAULT: 3000 BLOCK OF WESTWARD DRIVE. The suspect, Wesley Sanders, went to a female friend's workplace. The suspect threw a fork at the female victim and the police were called. Sanders was arrested.
