Lufkin Police Report - 10/8/08

ASSAULT/SEXUAL/RAPE. A fifteen year old female reported that she was touched inappropriately by a known adult male suspect and that he exposed himself to her.  Complainant reported that this has happened before with the same suspect.     

SEX OFFENSES/OTHER: 1800 Block FORD CHAPEL. Complainant reported that she was sexually assaulted in the parking area at the carnival Sunday night.  The complainant reported that she was shoved down from behind and a dark skinned male, possibly black or Hispanic, sexually assaulted her.

ASSAULT/A: 300 Block N JOHN REDDITT DR. Complainant reported that former employee slammed a manila folder down on her arm during a disagreement Tuesday, causing the complainant to pull her arm back sharply and hit her elbow on the desk.

CRIMINAL MISCHIEF: HILL ST @ LOTUS LN. Complainant reported that someone threw an unknown object at her car Tuesday and hit the window of her car with a loud thump.  She later found out that it apparently damaged her car window where it wouldn't roll back up after she rolled it down.

BURGLARY/HABITATION: 200 Block MCMULLEN ST. Complainant reported that she saw a known suspect enter her home and leave with something in his hand Tuesday afternoon.  When she checked her home she found her wallet had been stolen.

CRIMINAL MISCHIEF: 100 Block WESTERHOLM. Complainant reported that someone punctured two tires on his car with a sharp object Monday night, the second night in a row this was done.

TERRORISTIC THREAT: 200 Block MCMULLEN. Complainant reported that a known suspect came knocking on his door with a gun and threatened him Tuesday morning.

BURGLARY/HABITATION: 400 Block WHITE AV. Complainant reported that his home was broken in Tuesday morning and some change and jewelry were stolen.

THEFT/B: 800 Block N TIMBERLAND DR. Complainant reported that she left her cell phone on the counter at a store Tuesday afternoon and video surveillance showed the next customer in line picked up the phone and put it in hi s pocket.

BURGLARY/HABITATION: 700 Block MARKUS AV. Complainant reported that his home was broken into sometime Monday and that several pieces of jewelry were stolen.

SEX OFFENDER REGISTER: 200 Block FINLEY ST. A registered sex offender has failed to change his address since his release from jail in September.  It's not known where he is living, 206 Finley was his last known address.

CRIMINAL MISCHIEF: 1100 Block S TIMBERLAND. Complainant reported that the plate glass window on a restaurant was shot 10 times with a BB gun Monday night.

THEFT/B: 800 Block TREADWELL. Complainant reported that his green Craftsman lawn mower was stolen Tuesday morning.

THEFT: 4600 Block S MEDFORD. Complainant reported that someone made two unauthorized charges on his credit card and applied for a second credit card in his name.

UNAUTHORIZED USE OF: 200 Block E LAUREL AV. Complainant reported that his blue 1992 Oldsmobile was stolen from his driveway Monday night.
