THEFT: 4500 BLOCK OF NORTH STREET (HASTINGS). Jermichael Keggler was observed by a store employee placing an item in his pants. He was detained and arrested.

RESISTING ARREST: 3200 BLOCK OF SOUTH STREET. Officers were investigating a disturbance and the suspect exited a hotel room. The suspect appeared to be intoxicated and resisted officers who attempted to arrest him. Donald Drew Craig was arrested.

ASSAULT: 3500 BLOCK OF CENTER HIGHWAY. Officers responded to an assault call. The suspect was arrested for a physical assault on a male victim. No serious injury. Meagan Cummings was arrested.

BURGLARY OF A HABITATION: 3400 BLOCK OF EAST MAIN. A back door was forcibly entered and a Sony Playstation was taken.

BURGLARY OF A BUILDING: 4600 BLOCK OF NORTH STREET. Complainant reported entry through a window and a bank bag containing an undetermined amount of cash was taken.

THEFT: 400 BLOCK OF NORTHWEST STALLINGS DRIVE. A Green Murray push lawn mower was taken.

FORGERY: 1200 BLOCK OF SOUTH STREET. A prescription was reported altered at a pharmacy.

THEFT: 100 BLOCK OF UPTON STREET. Two purses containing several items were reported stolen from a vehicle on 10-10-08.

CRIMINAL TRESPASS: 100 BLOCK OF MACKECHNEY. Two suspects were located inside a vacant apartment. The owners were contacted and wished to file charges. The suspects had been released, and warrants have been requested.

BURGLARY OF A VEHICLE: 1400 BLOCK OF MARTINSVILLE. A window was broken on a vehicle. A purse and gps unit were taken.

BURGLARY OF A VEHICLE: 1200 BLOCK OF MOUND STREET. Unknown suspects entered a vehicle and prescription medication was taken.
